The Kylemore Estate including all Visitor amenities will remain closed all day tomorrow,Saturday 29th February due to the severe weather warning issued by Met Eireann. A red storm alert has been issued for between 1pm and 4pm tomorrow which means unnecessary travel is advised against, we plan toreopen the estate on Sunday morning at the usual time of 10am. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Status Red - Wind warning for Galway and Clare

Very severe winds associated with Storm Jorge (Hor-hay) on Saturday.Westerly winds will reach mean speeds of 85 to 100km/h in places on Saturday afternoon with gusts of 130 to 145km/h, with an elevated risk of coastal flooding.
