Last Saturday, October 27th, we celebrated Halloween with our Family Fun Afternoon.
We had a great day with a brilliant turn-out. It was a magical day where kids could experience a traditional style Halloween. They enjoyed home-made Halloween Concannon, Barm Brack & had their fortunes told by the Fortune Teller. Everyone created their own fairy wands to help the Cailleach cast all their wishes to the sky at the celebratory bonfire!
There was fascinated faces all round as kids wandered around the fairy village, painted fairy doors and added names of their loved ones to the tree of remembrance.
Everyone also got to learn a little about nature as they joined Head Gardener Anja to decorate & set up our frog hibernation houses in the Garden.
A fun-filled day all round. Happy Halloween!
