These crisp, cold but beautiful afternoons are perfect for exploring our 1000 acre estate, Victorian Walled Garden, Gothic Church, Mausoleum and the Abbey. We have plenty to keep the kids entertained with a kids play area in Mitchell’s cafe with lots of books and colouring, a fairy village beside the Tea House, where little magical creatures have built their houses & come to play! We also have two very friendly pigs named Ken and Gloria who love to greet visitors as they rummage around in the mud! There is lots to see and do on the estate however from January 7th, the Abbey will be closed due to extensive restoration work taking place. All other areas will be open and should not be missed!
