Meet the Green Team

The Green Team brings together staff from across Kylemore Abbey who are passionate about improving sustainability across the estate. By working collaboratively across departments, the team helps identify opportunities, develop initiatives and encourage positive environmental action.
The Green Team supports practical sustainability initiatives across the estate, helping to identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and encourage responsible resource management.
Current focus areas include waste reduction, energy efficiency, sustainable procurement, water conservation and staff engagement. The team works across departments to support continuous improvement and promote sustainable practices throughout Kylemore Abbey.
The Green Team meets regularly to review sustainability initiatives, monitor progress and develop new ideas. This section highlights ongoing projects, achievements and future priorities as we continue our sustainability journey.
