Heritage Week 2024

Welcome to Heritage Week 2024 at Kylemore Abbey.
Heritage Week 2024 kicks off nationwide on August 17th and Kylemore Abbey has planned some exciting upcoming events. On the 24th & 25th of August there will be special talks featuring a sneak peak of our newest upcoming display: the coronation robes and crown that were owned by the estate's second owner, the 9th Duke of Manchester. The talks will be at 1pm each day and will be delving into the Duke & Duchess of Manchesters time in Kylemore from 1903-1913.

In conjunction with this, there are digital talks posted below presented by Kylemore's expert History Guides, Anne Burke and Gerrit Nuckton. Watch below to hear all about the inspiring women of Kylemore and illustrious guests that once sat down for dinner on the estate down through the years. We also have a video showcasing the way our brand new free app helps visitors to guide their way through the estate.

All events are included in your regular admission.
