Sr. Genevieve Discusses Retreats and St. Benedict's Week on Connemara Community Radio

Thursday, June 5th marked a special appearance by Sr.Genevieve of the Benedictine Community at Kylemore Abbey on Connemara Community Radio (87.8 FM and 106.1 FM). Sr. Genevieve joined presenter John Staunton to discuss the enriching programme of upcoming retreats and events taking place at the Monastery, Education, and Retreat Centre at Kylemore Abbey.
The conversation highlighted several Day Retreats and a special weekend Discernment Retreat being offered in the serene setting of Kylemore, as part of the Benedictine community's ongoing effort to provide space for reflection, spiritual nourishment, and quiet renewal.
Sr. Genevieve also provided information on Kylemore's celebration of St. Benedict's Week, which will run from July 5th to 13th, in honour of the Feast of St. Benedict on July 11th. The week-long celebration with include a variety of prayerful and cultural events open to the public, including a special talk on the Book of Kells by Brother Colmán Ó Clabaigh OSB of Glenstal Abbey, taking place on Saturday, July 6th in the Great Hall.
