Sunday, November 30th, an unforgettable way to begin your Christmas celebrations on the tranquil Victorian estate in Connemara. Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy a relaxing day taking in the sights, sounds, and flavours of the season.
Visitors can explore the Kylemore Craft & Design Shop, open until 6:00 PM, for unique Christmas gifts, and sample Kylemore's handmade festive treats. Treat yourself to a glass of mulled wine or seasonal drinks from The Explorer, and enjoy a Sunday Carvery in the Kylemore Kitchen & Cafe from 12:00-4:30 PM.
At 4:30 PM The Mayo Male Voice Choir perform in Ostyn Hall at the Monastery, Education & Retreat Centre, before everyone gathers at the bridge for the lighting of the Kylemore Abbey Christmas tree from 5:30-5:45PM- a truly memorable way to celebrate the season.
Alongside Kylemore-made seasonal delights like traditional Christmas pudding, brandy butter, mulled wine mix, handmade chocolates, and soaps crafted by the Benedictine community, shoppers may discover thoughtfully chosen Irish and international gifts that are perfect for every stocking and festive table.
