Gospel Reflection for Palm Passion Sunday Year B
By The Benedictine Community
We are now beginning the last week of Jesus' life and ministry. His Father's salvific plan is now reaching its climax, but not the climax of the original plan. If Jesus had been accepted as the Way, the Truth and Life how different things would have been! But as we know, the Light came into the world and the world knew him not.
Today we join Jesus in his last week and we reflect on our own and the sins of the world but not without hope. Despite the rage of the world around us we have the might, the goodness and the love of the Eternal Father, Son and Holy Spirit on our side. The Lion of Judah has triumphed.
